Wendy Barker

Wendy is an experienced lawyer and governance professional who has worked in-house across the mining, construction and technology industries for multi-nationals and ASX listed entities.

Some of Wendy’s experience includes working with boards on governance and risk, managing large litigation and managing ASX listings and capital raisings. She has also successfully negotiated several complex transactions, asset sales and multi-million dollar contractual frameworks.

Her move into software at Jonas has shifted her focus to technology where over the last 18 months she has established an Australasian legal function.

Wendy focusses on helping all parts of a business by practically solving problems and she develops governance structures to ensure regulatory compliance and manage corporate risk. She is an adaptive and entrepreneurial lawyer, adjusting to different legal and commercial situations, creatively resolve issues and finding opportunities for personal growth and learning.
